About the event

Meredith Alexander Kunz is a writer, editor, and communications leader who has worked in journalism, higher education, and the technology industry. In 2016, she created The Stoic Mom blog (www.thestoicmom.com), exploring the many ways that caregivers and kids can benefit from practicing Stoic life philosophy. She is a contributing editor for The STOIC magazine and has shared her writing, talks, and interviews on the Stoicism Today blog, podcasts, NPR-affiliate radio, and conferences. 

Tim Iverson is a middle school art and humanities educator in Minnesota. Based on his own experience with mindfulness, he began incorporating mindfulness into his own teaching many years ago. He now facilitates mindfulness lessons and is a former board member with the Mindfulness in Education Network. Tim is also an organizer for the Minnesota Stoics and the author of two books, Advice for Every Hour and Calm and Curious.
