About the event

Teenagers and their parents today face unprecedented challenges in navigating life. Join our panel of wellbeing and parenting experts to learn how Stoicism can help both parents and teens cope with these issues. Topics include

  • finding a place in society
  • self-compassion
  • parental self-care

Panelists:

Meredith Kunz is a writer, editor, and author of The Stoic Mom, a publication that explores the many ways caregivers and kids can benefit from practicing Stoicism.

Eve Riches is a teen mentor and psychology educator who is particularly focused on improving emotional resilience and applying Stoicism to everyday life.

Paul Wilson is head of staff wellbeing at a UK university, where he promotes psychological safety, self-care, and a culture of wellbeing.

Facilitator:

Brittany Polat is and advocate for Stoicism as a way of life and author of Tranquility Parenting: A Guide to Staying Calm, Mindful, and Engaged.
